A friend of mine is a photographer and he has been working on a project for MTV in Dharavi and since has is done his photographs are available for all to look at and they are absolutely awesome.
The guy is Hasim Badhani my good friend and a very good photographer.

When I created mooDump I created it as a Wiki+Video+image Search site and was thinking of promoting it via torrent sites and it worked flawless the site got indexed fast and within a couple of days I started getting a hell loads of organic traffic from google but Google being Google they banned me and took me completly off their index.
So this is what I did to get my site unbanned from Google:
- Changed my site to a blog with WP
- Made some posts which made sense
- Created a Sitemap with a WP plugin
- Submitted the site to Google Webmaster central and added the sitemap
- Added some adsense ads to the site
- Finally submittet a Reconsideration request through GWC
I got a message in GWC in a coouple of days saying it being reviewed but usually it takes a couple of months for the site to get added back to the index but somehow mooDump got added in 4 days after submitting the reconfideration request.
I am still wondering how exactly it happened but still. I am happy that it did.

Pssst… you know that this domin is banned in Google?
Don’t tell anyone and this is the secret Google wi ban you in you do this stuff.
- Do not use custom players for youtube videos.
- Do not use phpthumb to create hotlink thumbnails.
- Do not have a tag cloud with a lot of junk in it.
- You need to have moodump.com redirected to www.moodump.com.
– Sometimes Google thinks its duplicate content.
How to get out of a Ban?
I am checking that out we will see how long it takes to lift the ban usually it takes a few months as far as I know!

I usually sit and do a site: gsearch for all my sites once in a while to see how many pages are indexed since I am not very good at SEO n stuff and while doin that today I found that indiapublic.com has mire than 2000 pages indexed in google but the site is down.
Let me tell you a talk about eleven2 hosting I took an account with them almost a year back I had a server running that time but I still wanted to see how good their hostiing is (they were bragging too much) so I got myself an account and started hosting site after site and my sites always take a lot of bandwidth I had rssaid.com as the main site it was a media SE site.
After a few months they suspeneded my account along with 20+ sites and I had no notification from them as far as I know the sites where all legal and I was not that stunned cause they had a very crappy servers, the stats (AwStats) was generating only after 4 days for my sites and they don’t have any option where I can manually update it.
Since the sites where not all that important I didn’t care and since I didn’t bother they didn’t either.
So to get back to the main discussion since the site is suspended how to get the files for indiapublic? Simple I had a backup written in a DVD.
So there you go I will lainch the site once the domain resolves back to my servers from eleven2 and the problem is solved.
But just a word of advice don’t go for eleven2 if you have a important project goin up go for a VPS from wiredtree.com they are awesome.
